I played a show on a Friday and no one showed up so I stayed til closing time and then I got in my truck,
I stopped drinking altogether cuz when I’m drinking alone, I can’t put down that ugly bottle and then punches get thrown
I felt free for a while til the others got home, then I got cast away and started drowning like a skipping stone,
I can’t stand meeting new people cuz they all come and go and theres a smile on the sidewalk from another we don’t know
